DragonBall Kai will be ending afterall!

It is now official. DragonBall Kai will end with the Cell saga, with a total of 98 episodes. The scan from the magazine TV Pia which confirmed theese rumors was posted by kei17 on the Daizex forum.

On the scan is an article which contained a short interview with Takeshi Kusao, the voice actor for Trunks. He also noted that he hopes, if there is an opportunity, that they can also remake the Majin Buu story arc.

There is no official explanation why are they ending the series here, but there you have it folks. I'll be writing soon more about this.

DragonBall Kai Complete Song Collection is now listed on Amazon Japan. Does this mean that Kai will end with the Cell saga? Nothing is yet officially confirmed.

Happy Holidays!!

FUNimation has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Toei Animation to stream the DragonBall, DragonBall Z, DragonBall GT, and DragonBall Z Kai (uncut English dub and an uncut Japanese subtitled format) anime series in the both the United States and Canada. It will begin on 15 January 2011 at 7:30 PM CDT preceding the One Piece simulcast at 8:00 PM CDT. The online combination of DragonBall and One Piece mirrors that of the current "Dream 9" time slot on Fuji TV. You can read more about it here.
